Less confusion, clear communication and consistent instruction creates less stress.
Will your dog miss you while he's here?
Dogs do not forget us when they are not with us. Your dog will love you just as much as they do now and probably more because when you get him back the frustration and unclear communication will no longer be muddying up your relationship.
Will your dog behave for you as well as it does for me?
Yes and no. Your dog will expect things to go back to the way they were before so if you do not follow instructions and you don't practice your dog will not behave. However, if you are prepared to follow instructions and practice your dog will quickly respond to you just as well as he does for me.
We will have enough follow up lessons to help you through the process of transferring his obedience to you.
Residency training gives allows you to get to the root of your dog's behavior. It means your dog will get trained in the shortest amount of time possible so that you have the least disruption to your life. It also means you have a mini break from your dog to distance yourself from old habits and responses. It means you do not have to learn at the same time your dog is learning making it less confusing because your dog will come home already knowing what you want him to do.
For your dog it also means they will experience less confusion during the training process because I have seen it all and know how to guide them through it quickly and efficiently.
Less confusion, clear communication and consistent instruction creates less stress as they learn.
